There are a number of local places where tuition and trekking can be arranged;
The Highland Riding Centre at Borlum Farm, Drumnadrochit, over-looking Loch Ness where beginners and experienced riders are welcomed alike. Well-schooled horses. All ages and stages. Indoor riding school. All weather outdoor area. Good rates. Open all year. Equipment provided. Est. 1962 - BHS approved. Call 01456 450220.
In the remote hamlet of Cougie, away up in the hills of Glen Affric, horse and pony riding enthusiasts can enjoy a memorable day out riding in some of the world's most spectacular scenery.
Advanced booking would be recommended, particularly in the busy times of the year. It is preferable for you to book this yourself as the stables do require some personal information. However, we are happy to assist in any area you are unsure of.
